Dreams Can Come True

Sunday, June 2nd, 2013

That’s part of the message of my new novel Dream Factory, which is now available in paperback through’s CreateSpace store. It’s a dream come true for me to get this novel out to readers after years of hard work on it!

Soon, Dream Factory will also be available as an ebook for’s Kindle. I’ll post the link for that here as soon as it’s ready.

Here’s the book’s description:

Do you dare to believe that dreams can come true?

Dream Factory raises provocative questions about the meaning of success and the nature of faith.

During the golden age of Hollywood, actresses Vivian Vogel and Constance Montgomery, actor Luke Sanders, and producer Jack Morgan each pursue their own dreams of success. They work in movie studios known as “dream factories” for producing films that shape the dreams of audiences worldwide. When they struggle to see some of their dreams become reality, they find themselves in a different kind of dream factory – one in which God and his angels challenge them to transform their dreams.

Vivian, Constance, and Luke all dream of stardom. As Christians, they dream of bringing hope and joy to audiences, yet they also struggle with less pure dreams of fame and fortune. Jack is in the business of helping others make their dreams come true, but at a cost. When he becomes obsessed with one of his own dreams and tries to force it into reality, he pays the ultimate price for it.

Will the novel’s characters cling to their own dreams, even when doing so puts them in danger? Or will they risk losing what they’d thought they had wanted so they can seek God and his dreams for them?

God sends angels into their lives as he shows them that his dreams for them are much greater than what they’ve been dreaming for themselves.

Dreams that come from God really do come true!

Thanks for checking it out.  I hope you gain lots of enjoyment and encouragement from reading Dream Factory!

Hello and Goodbye

Saturday, April 13th, 2013

As many of you fellow freelancers know, it’s hard to say “goodbye” to a project you love. But that’s the task I’m facing right now with my beloved site on angels and miracles, since has decided to retire the angels and miracles topics and archive the site.

For more than two years, I devoted copious amounts of time and energy to the site as a labor of love. The site grew steadily (achieving about 200,000 page views each month near the end), I surpassed all of my work performance goals every month, and readers all over the world contacted me to say that God was using the site powerfully in their lives to give them the information and inspiration they needed. I’d hoped to serve as the guide to angels and miracles for many more years, and I have extensive files of notes for future articles I’d planned to write. Yet, suddenly, news came that the site was being retired because, while successful, it was one of the newer sites that management decided to cut while investing more in older, more established sites.

I’m grateful to have had the blessing of serving readers as an guide, writing about something I care about passionately and knowing that it made a positive impact on many people’s lives. Moving forward, I’m excited about what new opportunities God will bring me to use my editing and writing skills to inspire and help people. You can still read fresh articles from me at, where I’ve served for many years and hope to keep serving for a long time. You can also see fresh posts from me on Google+. Finally, please feel free to email me through my Google+ account at with any comments you may have about my articles, job or assignment leads (thanks in advance!), or if there’s some way I can encourage you.

Saying “goodbye” is rarely easy, but it opens the way to say “hello” to something new, and God keeps all of us writers and editors constantly moving forward into new ways of serving readers.

Recording Angels

Monday, October 1st, 2012

This month on my site about angels and miracles, I’ll be featuring many more of Jesus Christ’s famous miracles, and also the different types of recording angels from different religious traditions, such as:

* Metatron: Jewish and New Age Recording Angel

* Sikh Recording Angels: Chitar and Gupat

* Hindu Diety Chitragupta: Angelic Record Keeper

* Kiraman Katibin: Muslim Recording Angels

* How Do Guardian Angels Record My Life?

Recording angels write down heavenly records about the thoughts and deeds of people on Earth. No detail escapes their attention, believers say. So, from an eternal perspective, everything we think, say, and do matters!

Hope you enjoy,

Angels and Crystals

Monday, July 2nd, 2012

This month on my site, I’m featuring articles about the fascinating connection between angels and crystals. People have used crystals as prayer tools to help them connect with angels since ancient times.

What is it that draws something physical like crystal rocks and something spiritual like angels together? Electromagnetic energy — the kind that’s constantly at work in the air around us, but that we can’t see with our eyes. That may sound odd, until you consider that many other kinds of invisible energy moves through the air around us: from cell phone and TV broadcasting signals, to sound waves and microwaves.

Some of the new articles I’ve posted include:

* What is an Angel Prayer Crystal?

* What is the Black Stone of Kaaba?

* Sacred Stones: The High Priest’s Breastplate Gems

I’ve also posted new articles about famous archangels like Haniel, Jophiel, and Raziel that I hope you’ll enjoy, plus profiles of various crystals and their spiritual meanings.

Recognizing Angels

Friday, April 27th, 2012

Angels are mysterious beings who often work behind the scenes, appearing in visual form only when God has a special purpose for them to do so. But you don’t have to actually see angels to recognize their presence with you. The archangels, in particular, each have distinctive signs that believers say help them recognize when those archangels are nearby.

Over the coming weeks on my site, I’ll be posting new articles about how to recognize archangels. I’ll also be writing new articles about stories of archangel appearances from religious texts, like the Bible, Torah, and Qur’an.

Hope you enjoy!

The Saints of Christmas

Tuesday, December 6th, 2011

Angels and miracles are vital parts of the Christmas season, and they’re also the topics of my site. Please visit throughout December for lots of Christmas content!

I’ve posted some new articles on three saints that people think about often during the Christmas season, and the miracles that believers say God performed through them:

* Saint Nicholas (the inspiration for Santa Claus)
* Saint Mary
* Saint Joseph

Hope you enjoy those and the site’s many other articles, and have a wonderful holiday season!

Angel Colors

Monday, November 14th, 2011

Lately on my site, I’ve been featuring articles that describe the metaphysical system of identifying different types of angels according to different colors. By thinking of angels who specialize in different types of work according to colors, people can focus their prayers according to what type of help they’re seeking from God and his angels.

Hope you enjoy these:

Fallen Angels

Thursday, November 3rd, 2011

Angels are pure and holy spiritual beings who love God and serve Him by helping people, right? Well, usually that’s the case. Certainly, the angels that people celebrate in popular culture are faithful angels who do good work in the world. But there’s another type of angels that doesn’t get nearly as much attention: fallen angels. Fallen angels (who are also commonly known as demons) work for evil purposes that lead to destruction in the world, in contrast to the good purposes of the missions that faithful angels fulfill.

This week on my site, I’m featuring new articles about fallen angels:

Who Are Fallen Angels?

Rebellion in the Ranks

How Can I Protect Myself from Fallen Angels?

Protect Yourself

Tattoos and Wings

Wednesday, October 5th, 2011

Those words in the headline seem like an odd combination, unless you add one more word: angels. Now you can picture some of those tattoos of angel wings you’ve seen before, right?

Angel tattoos are quite popular in our culture, but controversial in some religions. Check out the new article I’ve written about angel tattoos on my site.

Do angels really have wings? And if they do, then why? My new article “Angels: Wings and Things” takes on those questions.

Hope you enjoy!
